Ryan Limbeck – guitar (class of 2004)
While in high school Ryan was the premier high school jazz trombonist in the State of Michigan. Many college and universities were pursuing him. He was already heavily into arranging and composing as well. Ryan studied music at Western Michigan University and holds a degree in music from Grand Valley State University. It was at GVSU that he switched his attention to guitar and did his senior recital on guitar. He continues to perform on both instruments. Ryan is not only an instrumentalist but a composer, vocalist and arranger as well. He has also performed with some of the world’s top musicians including Randy Brecker, the Count Basie Orchestra and the US Army Field Band Jazz Ambassadors to mention a few. Currently Ryan performs with the R & B horn band The Hip Pocket.
